We ate here on Saturday night and booked in advance which was just as well as it was very busy. The menu was also great value for money.We went to Le Comptoir with our friends from Sark. I still think this is one of the best on the...We arrived around 12.30 on a rainy August day and the restaurant was already busy but we were shown to a good table at the side near a window and our orders were taken promptly. The only exception being the baby sweet peppers served with the carpaccio of beef, which totally overwhelmed the taste of everything else on the plate - but setting them to one side was easy & other diners may not agree with my view on this. We booked an evening dinner and were a bit worried when we arrived a little before seven pm to find we were the only ones there. Drinks arrived quickly but quite a wait for our food...We stopped here for lunch - the tables outside were full so we were seated upstairs which has a large window overlooking the harbour.

The ambience in the restaurant is congenial and the staff are friendly. We had a very friendly and warm welcome and the restaurant is really lovely inside, modern design and quite quirky décor with the wooden tables and comfy chairs nicely spaced out. Our little dog was...Visited this restaurant with family and friends and once again, experienced a fabulous meal with a central upstairs view of the harbour opposite. I recommend the Paris de Granville with beurre sale. The desserts were particularly good. We had a variety of dishes which were balanced, interesting, delicious & beautifully presented. Eat inside or outside, weather permitting. Reasonably priced and well frequented by local people.

We had a wonderful dinner at Le Comptoir. Our plateau of fresh shellfish was plentiful and varied. Fish followed by a rich (and tasty) chocolate mousse.

The food was excellently presented...I guess you can't do much wrong with moules et frites but the welcome was warm, the service excellent and we had a very pleasurable evening.The food was great, seafood of course, after all the fishing port is right across the street. This was due to the forthcoming holidays.We are so sad that we only found this place a few nights before we leave for home tomorrow. No in fact its very good with lovely fresh fish, very good service and the location is very good indeed.

A lovely evening and a great start to our two week holiday in the Loire.Had a very nice meal here on a Sunday evening. The meals were excellent with moules et frites, Normandy style in cream ( delicious), Skate wing, coquilles St Jacques, Bass, Cod and...We had heard about this restaurant, so came into Granville to try it out, and were not disappointed. Food was superb, srrvice excellent and the atmosphere lovely.
