The Fishing Wars Memorial Bridge (formerly the Puyallup River Bridge) opened September 14, 2019. The Workshop determined that the project was of value to the area and the bridge should be replaced. The Bridge Failure The main font of the bridge near Tacoma, Washington was 28000 ft long, 39 ft wide and the steel stiffening girders (shown during construction) were 8 ft. tall.
